Revamp revamp revamp

Did an extreme makeover for my hair by chopping off 8 inches.

Normally I wouldn't have the courage to do so,

but somehow I felt that I'm in good hands when I stepped into D'Mane Salon.

The shop is conveniently located at Far East plaza,

and it offers top quality service as well as hair products.

(Which is why now it is my official hair sponsor)

Edwin Wong (who used to handle my hair 2 years back)

is now the art director of D' Mane salon.

So glad that I called him up to locate his whereabouts.

All I told him was that I wanna get rid of my frizzy long hair,

and the rest happened according to his professional judgement.

& I must say, he sure knows what's best for me.

THEN

Notice the dry ends of my hair.

It's x5 much worse in real life than what you see in the picture.

NOW

Much much better?

All I got for the past few days were nothing but compliments.

Everyone commented how well my hairstyle suits me.

SHOULD'VE CHOP OFF MY HAIR LONG AGO.

& Edwin colored my hair for me too!

My original light brown color made my hair look way too dull.

Love how red my hair is right now!

Now I can be much more easily spotted teehee.

My mom had a big transformation, too!

Edwin's magic took away 10 years off her age.

I'm honored to have Edwin as my stylist.

Not only does he know what is best for all his customers,

I can see that he puts in his full sincerity,

treating every head of hair as his art pieces.

Edwin just got back from UK few months ago,

trained with international qualification and won 2nd runner up as Singapore hair designer 2013.

I would say his best quality would be hair cuts that emphasize on shape and balance

but with minimum maintenance!

Goodbye hair!

Finally chopped off 8inches of my hair.

Looking much fresher now!

S'funny how short hair makes me look younger,

even without make up.

It's a quarter past 12A.M.
It was times like this,
You'll come in seeing me still awake.
I'll hear you asking me to go to bed.

& If I were out,
nothing's gonna change except that
you'll add on with something special,
saying it's late and come home soon.

Every night almost without fail,
we'll be bidding good nights,
be it one's sleepy and one's awake.

After that last goodbye,
I'm starting to miss our usual good nights.
I wonder if we still share the same time zone or
are our timings' too far apart?

They say one sided is incomplete but
we can't deny that one side still exists.
Perhaps I'll never hear it again from you,
but I'm still able to say it.

So here's to you, my old man,
Good night and I hope you'll sleep tight.

Star awards 2013

Tonight's the last star award I'll ever attend.

I remember following my dad to the award ceremony ever since I was little.
There's just no appropriate word to describe the feeling I'm having now,
It feels as though I'm off to a brand new chapter in my life.
There's no room for turning back and right now, all I can do is to move along.
It takes time to adapt I guess.

Whenever my dad got an award,
he will always look for me among the audience crowd
just to hand me his trophy.
I used to be so proud of him all the time.
The way he held the trophy so tightly while walking towards me and passing it to me in the end,
I'll never see it again.

However, tonight,
it's my turn to hand him the trophy.
He had made me proud enough,
now's my turn to return the favor.

It was a peaceful closure.

I thank everyone for the concern, as well as my dear friends who came down be it helping out, or giving me moral support. 

There are just way too many stories to tell.

People whom I've told the stories to knows how great a dad he was to me.

He made me proud when he was alive. He's still able to make me be proud of him even after his departure. I'm very touched to see a thousand of people in total sending him off on his last journey. He must have been a great man to all of you. 

Hope he'll remain in all of your hearts like the way he remained in mine.
